I've never had a truly inspiring DD but my 98 Grand Caravan has gotten me where I need to go, when I need to be there. Has never left me stranded and has been to 30+ states when we used to go on family road trips. Last spring I drove it to South Padre Texas and back with no troubles and good fuel economy. A few of the newer cars in our group had problems (2 lost fuel pumps, suspect bad gas, another had a bad starter).
One day I'll move south and be able to DD the gto. After another restoration to make it right, it should be a great driver. I already drive it as often as I can during the summer and it never fails to bring a smile to my face.

I'm still driving my ole' pickup -
Just turned 25 this month; 195,000 miles; 4.3L V6, 4 speed manual/overdrive, 3.73 gears. Gets 22 mpg and is the most pleasant vehicle I own - smooth at any speed, brakes feel perfect, steering is perfect. Need to get the A/C fixed - next spring. K
