It doesnt matter what tube you use (if you can get it to fit your tunnel) as long as you use the correct dipstick. Long or short doesnt matter because they both protrude the same amount out of the bottom. Just like someone said if you can measure an original and see how much sticks out of the bottom you know. Chevy Olds Buick Pontiac doesnt matter as long as it bolts to your engine and clears the tunnel as LONG AS you use the correct stick that came with it. Now politically correct fit is another thing
