Pulling up an old thread from the dead...

This is my car, thanks for looking after it Ian! I just joined here today looking for photos of Pontiac deliveries (the Canadian ones on the Chevy chassis).

The car is largely rust free, but there were a couple of small holes I fixed when I painted it. The rear panel is slugdy from sitting outside in the rain for a few months before it arrived at Ian's place, but it's not rusted through.

It is a 150 as all sedan deliveries were, and the Bel Air trim was fitted to it probably in the 60s when it did duty as a drag car (I'm told). It hadn't been licensed since 1971 when it arrived in Australia (1996). It sat in a field in Washington state for the time in between. The original stamped holes for the 150 trim were still there when I removed the stainless to paint it.

I'm looking at buying a 58 Pontiac delivery, and searching for pictures of others brought me to this site. I've found one for sale, quite rusty though, but purportedly one of only four known survivors of the 449 built. I'm just not sure about swapping a good rust free car for a rust bucket...

Don't tell my dad, Ian!
