Default White Castle thinking of selling alcohol

Seems like a fire and brimstone speech, but it's interesting how morals go out the window when it comes to money.

- When cities or states are bankrupt, they look to gambling casinos.

- When additional tax money is needed, cities begin to think about legalizing prostitution.

- When states are broke, they begin to think about legalizing marijuana.

- When fast food chains are broke, they think about selling booze.

http://news.yahoo.com/white-castle-b...152019559.html

So when it all ends, sex, drugs, and booze will bail out this economy.

I don't see what the big deal is...plenty of restaurants sell wine and beer. It's nothing new for fast food joints either, I had a beer at a Burger King in New York City 30 years ago.

Burger King and Starbucks too. Now that is sad, especially Burger King. Next thing you know McDonald's and Wendy's will be doing it too. Sad, very sad.

Say there bar keep. How about a Whopper and beer, but hold the fries. I can see the drunks in the corner now. Hold da Whopper, just gimme anudder beer. Hic

Instead of ordering their "sliders" at the drive through, as they are drinking their beer.

Colt 45, It Works every Time...

But in all seriousness and with due respect to the original poster, why is it that so many people feel the need to legislate morality? I won't even mention the fact that Jesus has been known to turn water into wine for the sake of a proper wedding celebration...oops, I guess I just did.

Are we not responsible adults that can make up our minds as to what we can, do, or do not do with our bodies? Why is it that people wish to dictate what I do with another consenting adult in the privacy of my own home? Why is it that people want to dictate what I consume in the privacy of my own home or in public for that matter, as long as I am not physically hurting anyone else?

Adults should be able to eat what they want, drink what they want, smoke what they want, and do anything else that they want with their bodies, including selling it, or more precisely renting it out. We as individuals own our bodies and I resent the fact that dogooders are constantly trying to force me to do as THEY want.

Make no mistake about it folks. Every law is ultimately enforced at the point of a gun, and it is highly immoral to force people to conform to whatever standard another person feel is "moral" in their eyes.

Andrew

P.S. And if some idiot wants to gamble away his hard earned money why should my tax dollars be used to pay for police to stop him? Really? Really??? REALLY?????

Sleepy is right. When I lived in Columbus,Ohio and would go out with the guys on weekends White Castles was the main stop before going home. A good friend of mine used to call them gut gernades. Hate that they would have to start selling beer to boost sales.

Is it really a bad thing for an adult to have a beer with a burger? I don't think people will be going to White Castle to get hammered lol.

Nothing better than a sack of sliders to go along with a beer! :yummy:
If you "enjoy" in to much of either of them you pay for it the next day (as well as everyone around you) so enjoy both in moderation and all is good.

Sliders and beer? No big deal. The last time I was at Chuck E Cheese when my kids were young they served beer.
Better make sure you have a restroom close by though. Sliders and too much beer= It'll be coming out both ends.
