I can't confirm the plug location change, but I can confirm that changes were made from the original casting that I received over two years ago. That information came directly from the manufacture. They also indicated they wanted an exhaust style more similar to the BBC style, but people much closer to the Pontiac market strongly advised against that.

Lol, dont know what those people were thinking about not changing the exhaust. I for one wouldnt have minded the change.

Picture Slowbird shows looks ok. IIRC Don has a very early casting as does Calvin. The ones at PRI appeared different than theirs.

... when we talked to Rick from Edelbrock at PRI this year about the plug location, he said that there were some early castings that had some things in different places, he thinks that was why Calvin's proport casting probably had the plug where it was, he assured it has since been corrected ...
