Yes, '71 & 72 converts were all Sports, but the deluxe bench could be ordered, that is indeed what you're seeing with the additional trim charge. Don't believe buckets were standard per say, still had a separate charge for them on a 237 series. Consoles will be billed out separate as well.

From seeing black interior (I can't make out the trim code) Wanker's convert would have a black comfortweave front bench with a fold down arm rest.

Interior Pontiac advertised (dealer album & brochures) for '70 233 27 & 37 series models are a different matter, trim codes were added as the model year rolled along. Bill & I have messaged about this before.

Dan's registry lists this car to have a "269" interior trim code.

FWIW - Dan has seven 1971 455HO LeMans 'verts on his list. Three of the seven show a 269 trim code - this Lucy Blue car, a Cameo White car and a Tropical Lime car. All had code "2" black tops.
