I rubber capped it and used a radiator clamp to secure it. I did the same on the rear passenger side cylinder head nipple. Im not hooking my heater up for a while so i didnt see a need to run it. I'm not going to hurt anything am I?

Well I dont know but I have mine running to the back of the motor. I dont have it going to the firewall because I dont need heat. I never used it and the heater core went out.

Maybe someone can chime in? Id love to do what Nick did and get rid of that hose.

No worries... You're perfectly fine by capping both of those fittings. You won't hurt a thing. I've done it many times over the years for similar reasons.

Of course I do have my heaters all hooked up these days, but that's 'cause I have that thin Arizona blood!
