Nice to see Chip Foose give a little LOVE to a 71 T/A tonight on ; American Icon - The Muscle Car. the segment featured a Blue on Blue, Custom Interior, 4-Speed A/C car. it's claimed to be an original un-restored survivor????

Only way to tell the difference is the thickness of the metal where the washer bolt comes through. You can see it in your pics. The repro one may be a bit better having it thicker...probably stronger. A great reproduction.

good luck on the site. i have both a 71 4 speed TA and will be running a 71 GTO with a 455 HO. glad to have one site that covers both.

have someone else floor the pedal (engine off of course
) while you make sure the pedal alone will open them too. Might be the linkage is not adjusted right or that there is too much insulation or padding under the pedal.
