Fullsize and midsize Pontiacs no longer used the strato bench in 69. 68 was the last year. to confirm other comments I had a 70 Eldo that had one.
In case anyone is wondering what the hell a strato-bench is; it's a lower half of a bench seat with the uppers from the bucket seat model of the same era (known as strato-buckets) with a folding armrest (that became a seat-back when raised) in between. Kind of a neat idea because you had the practicality of a bench but with the armrest down you had a bit of that sporty bucket look. And like the buckets I guess they were also used in experimental military jets that flew into the stratosphere.
