Glad to see it is on the move again. Smart move letting a professional get it done when you can.
So now it is back to "hurry up and wait". lol

Block o-ringed and head deck welded and o-ringed. Valve job done. Heads flowed today. 350 cfm. Not too bad with std pushrod location. Took about 600 grams out of your crank today. A little on the heavy side! lol. Cut about a 1/4" off the front and rear counter weights in a big lathe to get it close enough to drill. Don't worry, I didn't kill it and it passed my inspection! lol.

Sweet!!! Great news!! I never expected the heads to flow that much with standard pushrod location! Not bad for some "old school" edelbrocks lol.
I'm sure rod, travis and David are tired of putting up with my impatient ass but I'm very glad to have them all on board. Gonna be alot easier to step on the loud pedal knowing who is in my corner.

I finally sat down and read thru this whole thread. This build should produce some killer numbers when it's done.

Car is all apart, and heading to the chassis shop. Talked to Travis quillen today, and my mind is set on injection. Another priceless 10 minute phone call saved me thousands.

If you have the money, FI is the way to go and Travis is the man to set it up.

Nice presentation on the parts-looks like you are a frustrated photographer.
