Looks great (I thought it was bare metal until I opened the attachments!).
Let us know how the fender install goes. Normally the wheelhouse inner is attached to the fender before the fender/liner assembly goes to the car (that's how the assembly plant did it). Going back to your earlier headliner question - it's easier without the glass installed because that way you can load the headliner straight into position directly through the daylight opening (either from the rear or from the front). Keith,
I now have both fenders permanately installed and they are perfect with perfect gaps too. I hung the fenders on the car before it was painted just to make sure all the gaps were good. I will agree its easier to remove the front tires and install the fender with it attached to the inner fender but I ddnt do t that way. I taped up the door, firewall, rad support and header so I didnt accidently scratch anything New photos coming soon -Dominic |

I now have the front sheet metal permanately installed. All gaps are perfect.
I have the complete A/C system installed with new filter/drier. Its been evacuated and recharged with R-12 and works perfectly and is ice cold. I jusr got my red lines tooday and had them mounted too and installed on the car. I also bought new NOS trim rings about a year ago and put them on with the center caps. |
