Like I said, it's still not perfect but the parts that are seen when it's mounted are pretty darn close. I can still see a pimple or two in that second pic...but they are on the underside.
I could do it once or twice more and probably get it perfect but I've already used the better part of a QUART on this thing. I did learn though, that even epoxy will fill small imperfections such as pores, sanding scratches and cracks if applied and sanded enough times. I think I've done this one 8 or 9 times now (sanding most of it away) and it adds up.
At least, that's my impression...correct me if I'm wrong someone?
