NICE!
Since the car has all the chrome and stainless trim: horizontal ding guards, fender edge trim, window trim, etc., I will refrain from striping it. But if it didn't have all that I'd go with the silver stripe. That is cool. I only wish that red was an interior choice in 1972. I am a sucker for the classic black paint with red gut color scheme. The very first Pontiac I ever lusted after was a 1970 GTO, black with rear wing and a bright red interior. I saw it brand new, back in the Summer of 1970. My Summer camp counselor had just bought it and had it parked by itself in a grove of trees next to the local elementary school in Orange, Connecticut where I was sentenced to serve 60 days as an inmate...er, camper at the local town camp. (Nothing like having to go to camp at the very school you just spent the entire year attending - what a bummer when you're 8 years old!) :-) |

Here is what taking the inner fender allows you to access the bulkhead area directly. Imagine trying to get that central reatining bolt out of the bulkhead terminal by feel.

Here is the condensor that I removed from the car. Still had the caps on the fitting ends. If anyone can identify it, they can have it!

![]() ![]() And the crazy electric fan and the resulting fixed blade fan that it required when it took up too much room behind the radiator. Can anyone use this electric fan setup?

And the rewly repainted, late 1971 fan that FormulaBruce sent me. Along with the new drive hub I bought. Just waiting for the new radiator to arrive.
