check out how ford engineers redesigned the hanger bearing on their new trucks. this is a 2009 with 90000kms(55000miles) . not serviceable and not available seperate from ford. local ford dealer wants $1400.00 for a new shaft that only needs a $75.00 hanger bearing. actually the bearing is fine, just the rubber mounting is wrecked. to get the guy on the road for now we welded tabs from the hanger bearing housing to the outer bearing race basically eliminating the rubber from the equasion.

also instead of that sticker on the driveshaft they should have one on the dash. SCRAP IF THIS TRUCK MAKES IT OFF WARRANTY

The front wheel bearings on 2003-up Dodge 4x4 3/4 and 1 ton trucks with AAM 9-1/4" front axles are of unitized construction. They are not serviceable and no replacement bearings or seals are available for them

Where is the fuel filter on 2004 dodge 5.7 liter hemi?
it's non-serviceable. The filter is actually incorporated into the fuel pump assembly. I recommend you have someone perform a fuel volume and pressure test to verify proper pump operation. good luck Read More

um, fords are the same. plus on fords you have to deal with there vacuum operated /manual hubs which are useless

Don't you have drive shaft shops up there? I can go to St Paul to CATCO and have ANY drive shaft repaired or made from scratch.

Who said anything about ordering one in? (besides you) CATCO probably has the hanger in stock and if you don't have the skill to install it, they will do it for you.

typical. this is what i hate about fords. their engineering dept is ****ed.
