I'm blown away by the artistic talent cause I have none.

But just to pick nits, there is a typo on the starter motor, should be 1107294.

And I think there is a detailing error on the fan clutch, missing the two "blocks".

But jeez, I have trouble staying within the lines in a coloring book, that is pretty awesome work.

Wonder who owns the motor that was used for the modeling gigl? I envy that guy too.

I couldn't draw a straight line with a ruler.



HO Racing has one for the SD 455 that is actual size.
But it is a line drawing, not like a picture or real look.

I'd say David Kimble is the artist.
Is he on PY?

As an aside, I have worked with David Kimble to create this type of art (for Chevy Truck sales brochures and presentations).

He takes the math data (aka electronic engineering drawings) and his own photographs and melds them into the incredible artwork you see here.

He is very talented and is a quiet, humble man and a joy to work with.

I too have made this my desktop backround! Even the OEM screens that support the foam air filters is cool! Just an observation but I don't think the end carb outer pump rods used the clips at each end as the rods stay in place on their own?

Not exactly as I said above, as there are U shaped clips that crimp closed around the groove in both ends of rods opposed to the clips shown in the cutaway art.
