I also have my original spare. I did take it out and now just display it. I only wish they would repop this tire! I haven't seen any others like these. |

That is an interesting tire! I've never seen that one before either. Most had the Uniroyal with a solid dual pin-white stripe. Do you have your original build sheet or window sticker that shows an optional tire listed? I'd be curious to know...

Thanks Grant,
The car has almost 170,000 miles. The car went through a full frame off rotisserie restoration completed in 2008. I started hoarding parts back in 81. Been buying up nos parts since then. There are very few repop items used in this resto. Basically only suspension and brake parts. My step dad owned his own auto upholstery business and he redid the seats about 27 years with original gm material and he made those pillows up for me and they have been in the car ever since. Ron |
