Yeah he is confusing it with the W72 SE cars (1107) Its a W72 10th (1817). I remember it advertised on Ebay a few years ago, IIRC, it had some detailed pics and appeared to be nicely done paintwork.

The car is a color change and ruined in my eyes to any collector. Its nice and i looked at it in person last year when the guy in jersey was selling it..Hit me at 35k which i thought was crazy. original owner had it painted black when it was new..Never heard any of the george S story when i looked at it.

wow can you predict the future too. without seeing it i was not believing either till i was told by a close source it was the 19U/19L paint code. the source did not believe me when i said it had the 15/16 code. they were not aware it was repainted either. it has a good paint job on it factory style but decals looked to be reproductions to me. still a super nice low milage car.

I was just trying to help you because i know the car.. I looked at the car in person a year ago and im pretty well versed in pontiacs my friend. They never made a black 10th car. The owner at the time knew it was painted balck by the dealer when new It is a nice car but like a said earlier its TOOOO much money for it.
