Alright, any idiot ( I know from experience) can get his hands dirty.
Tonight I removed twenty years of brake dust, grease, oil and doo-doo from my car. There seems to be a direct relationship between the amount of crap on my hands and the amount of crap I get from my wife for making a mess in the sink.
My brew of permatex hand cleaner, gasoline, borax and skin-so-soft is nearly gone so I must consider a new means of removing toxic waste while leaving my hands school girl soft.
What do you sensitive guys use.

Dawn dish washing soap and an old toothbrush. I also have an old green sponge that I use on tough spots with the occasional Orange Pumice hand cleaner. Works quite well. Follow it up with lotion every night on the hands to keep them from chipping and cracking (thin skin condition).

I use a green scouring pad and any dish soap. I don't have tough hands either, and I use one multiple times per day if I'm working on dirty car parts. In fact, if you don't have cracks and coarse skin it works better at cleaning.
The green scouring pads are fairly abrasive when they're brand new. I wrap it around each finger and twist back and forth like an Indian Burn. I use lighter action on forearms than hands. I use lighter action when they're brand new too.
I got a small nylon fingernail brush from NAPA from the Ballcamp line when it's needed.

Scouring pad. It exfoliates too.

Joe's Hand Cleaner.....if it don't get it off, then it ain't comin' off. They make it two different ways, one with the grit and one without. Either one works better than anything I have ever tried.

It's pink in color, has a grit in it that makes cleaning your hands easy, and smells like bubble gum. We sell this to all our shop accounts.

I like the regular gojo. Not a fan of any orange type or pumice products; always a lot of gritty stuff that cuts in to my damaged skin, and black stuff is still there. I mix concrete and I have the most terribly damaged skin you could imagine; gojo is smooth and breaks grease right down.

heavy stuff i use lacquer thinner, then the orange gritty stuff...or even the dry grit hand cleaner works good with liquid soap..go jo is good too...

I use old fashioned Lava bar soap. Still works great just like it did when I was a kid....and a bar lasts a long time compared to go-jo and that kind of stuff.

Spray with WD-40, rub all around & wipe off with a rag. Then any decent hand soap. Squeeky clean!!!
