Hello Phil,

We purchased the car in 1996 and drove it for one month and took it out of service........big mistake! From there we put it in prison........I mean the body shop March of 2007!!!! After many missed completion dates I demanded the car and it was delivered December of 2011. Still needs interior, glass and top installed. I have taken it out for a couple of short blast and the P-Dude 535 runs strong!!!! With this being said I just don't have "any" interest in finishing the project!!!!!!!!

Well nothing new to report on the 67! However, did add a 2012 SRT8 Challenger to the stable....470hp and a blast to drive!

Have you driven the car much Paul? I'm thinking about building a RAIV "appearing" 505 using an aluminum IA II block for my 70TA and I'm curious about how well engines like this can work in a car that is primarily street/highway driven--say 3 thousand miles a year.

Jeff,

We only driven the car 50 miles. However this thing goes up and down the road with ease. The 3.55 gear is a little much and not needed with the torque of a 535!

OK.....I'm going to man up and quit the whinning about the car. April 29th the car has an appointment with a "local" shop for completion!!!! Went out for a 30 mile cruise last night and man the P-Dude built 535 sure likes 65 degrees weather!!!!!

Paul, I really haven't done much. Don't have the time and really don't have a lot of interest in finishing this project. I know this is ashame......but that's how I feel!!

Very nice 67.

The only reason I like the 66 GTOs more, and the only reason is difference between 66 and 67, is the grills and tail lights. To me the rest is just minor stuff between the 2 years. But the main reason is, the very first car I bought was a 4 speed 66 GTO.
