check for rust above the windshield, the cowl aera and floor cab supports v6 were just for the gmc the real early gmc did have a pontiac if you wanted a v8

My dad had a65 1/2 ton v6 3spd,new. Took a Pontiac starter,had low end torque.Still have nos rear brake shoes somewhere. Cab rusted out less than 70k. I use to get gear shift stuck between 2-3rd learned how to fix that.
