Sounds like you don't really need a new project.
I like the way your gray 200SX looks. Is it also an '86? My ex brother-in-law had an '84 200SX. Neat little cars.

If you really must convert the red one to a stick-shift, you should try to get them to lower the price. It shouldn't be that much because of the age alone IMHO. Edmund's and Kelly Blue Book don't even show that model to appoint a value. I doubt if N.A.D.A. does either. Too damn old.
Being RWD, I bet the suspension and driveline parts are hard to find, unless they interchange with the 300 stuff. I bet these are a rare sight in a salvage yard.

P.S. I'd wait to see how the election goes before you pull the trigger. Maybe they'll dump it off cheaper if Romney is elected.
