I ground that lug on the calipers because when I first installed them they were hitting the brackets. Your right, there was no way the bolts were going to line up in the brackets without doing so. I also had to grind the casting around where the brake hose end fits onto the caliper. The casting was setup for a hose that had rounded ends on it whereas my hoses had squared ends, so I had to relieve this area slightly. I checked to make sure that I had adequate clearance and that I didn't have any interference between the caliper and bracket after grinding and I was good to go. The bolts went in easily when I all I had was the empty caliper sliding over the rotor and bolting it up that way. I really had to work with the bolts to get them started after putting the pads in the calipers. I noticed the brake pads were thicker than most I've seen for some reason.(I've seen a bunch of them, used to work in engineering for a facility that made them a few years ago) I wonder if this could be the cause of it?

S10 calipers are mentioned on this thread. that's why I asked. an ebay ad that you have specifies 85-90 Park Ave rotors.

Is the links / parts correct? I'm going to buy the plates for sure. But I want to get all the right parts before I start! I'd also need to hose part number and adapter. Is that in the reg. directions that come with the kit?

So i am bringing this thread back from the dead. I am working on this car again for the first time in years. I had the engine rebuilt, installed a holley sniper EFI and the car is running great.

I'm going through the brakes again since this thing has sat for almost 10 years. I have no idea where the install instructions parts list went for my scarebird kit and after bleeding the brakes several times I'm not having any luck with getting a pedal so I wanted to replace the master cylinder and calipers and rebuild the wheel cylinders so that everything is up to par.

Do any of you have a make/model parts list for the master and calipers? I understand that scarebird has revised the brackets since mine were made and use different parts. The brackets I have work with the original drum hubs.
