My favorite car my father owned was this 1963 Apollo 3500 Gran Turismo.
With out doubt it was his pride and joy, and also mine the 8th Apollo produced, parked here in front of the house we lived in when the car was purchased new. I decided to fully insure and drive this car again on a regular basis earlier this year, I attended as many car shows and ralleys as I could. Logged about 15k miles in the process. It was a lot of fun and I met a lot of people along the way.

My dad drove this car pretty hard when he owned it, can't do the things today he did back then though. I do try though , and I've gotten several tickets in the process and several warnings as well LOL It took me a while to get the carb tuned

Rookie, can you post more photos in color of the Apollo 3500 GT. That looks to be a cool ride. I want to put them with all the photos of the different hot cars I've collected. Thanks in advance.
