Hate to ask more questions, BUT.. does that car have the new "pink" wire from the firewall side of the fuse box, to the dist? FULL 12 volts? HEI needs 12 volts to actually run correctly. Some cars will run on less, but its not high energy.
Ill assume the crank chain sprocket is at 12 o'clock and the cam sprocket at 6..... Good luck!!

Same pink wire when it ran a month ago before the rebuild. I will swap distributors with Grammas car next, to see if that is the problem but I doubt it since the plugs are getting spark. Cam sprocket is correctly indexed to crank.
