Yeah it has been Quiet and i am still out $915 with no replys no contact no time frame period.
I give up and have taken some steps with getting a refund ,Visa is being very cooperative and the rep was understanding. A time frame has been put in place from there end .
Contact and aknowledgement is all i wanted but to ask for a reply is up to the individual and to be shunned for doing so is just wrong.
Some of us have ongoing projects and getting vital components to complete a step is important.
Im happy that members have recieved there headers and i hope Ron still is fabricating a quality product but my wait is done .
I am now looking for other headers , so the research begins.

I have seen a set of Dougs Headers that have been modifed to gain additional ground clearance when used on a 2nd gen 'birds.
It can be done by sectioning the down tubes and re-welding them back together.
Although not a tri-y.......it is an alternative as far as headers go.

And I'll gladly send him more money and patiently wait.
And headers will be built and ship as a result.

Here is the problem. I have been positive and patient.....FOR TEN MONTHS!! Yeah, I too have a good idea of where Ron's head is at and it's not in his business. If he was doing his best, he would have sent me an email or given me a call. It's common courtesy, especially if you have hundreds of dollars of someone else's money.
I ordered $750 of interior parts from Brett @ 78ta.com. I got a confirmation email, an order shipped email, and then the products arrived 2 days later. That's how a business is supposed to work. Pretty simple.

Larry - I've got two 2nd gen's w/ Doug's and they are both lowered (although not radically). Except for the Tribals', the Doug's are the "highest" hanging headers, IMHO.

That mod you are doing to the Doug's - are those car's pretty radically lowered to need that?

I've been waiting patiently and positively since June 2005 for my Tri-Y's...finally wrote them off as a bad investment and bought a nice set of coated over-sized RA manifolds. Fit and finish was excellent, and the car seems to have picked up a bit more low-end torque.

I may someday receive my Tri-Y's, and it will be a nice surprise if I do. I hold no malice towards Ron. The man was hit-hard, and was knocked down. He keeps trying to get back up, and hasn't given up fighting. Holding a grudge against him won't change anything. I wish him the best of luck, and hope he truly CAN make it "right" someday with everyone who's sent him money.

This the situation that I was told about when I ordered a set myself. I was told that my "new" order would get my headers and get an "old" order filled also. I believed Ron and Aron when I was told all of this BS. But alas, it appears I was cheated out of my money and may never see any headers. I ran out of time and had to get headers for my project. I ended up with a set of Doug's. I may have to modify them to clear the steering shaft for my rack and pinion.

I don't have such nice feelings for Ron and his front man. I was ripped off. Plain and simple. How could I be told I would get headers three to four weeks and now going on nine months! All emails and messages are never responded too. No posts here are ever responded too! And they post elsewhere on this site about Turbo Headers?! Give me a break! These thieves are trolling for more suckers to give them money to support their sham of making headers!

Making headers?! Yeah sure! Prove it!

Let me see a pictures of completed headers with proof - the front page of a newspaper with the date showing. Kinda like a hostage picture...

Or anyone can post saying they got their headers dates telling of when ordered and received.

Ron and Aron and their associates should all be charged with theft and thrown in jail. They knowingly ripped me! Yes, he is a terrible business man and a thief as far as I am concerned! All I can say is this is a RIP OFF

And if I have to be nice to him to get the product I paid for..... He can "TURBO" me also as others have said!! If he wants more orders... SIMPLE - DELIVER HEADERS THAT ARE PAID FOR!! Then he will actually get some positive feedback. You cannot take money from people and deliver nothing. That is call STEALING in my world. I guess to Ron and Aron it is called "being a bad business man".

Until headers are delivered this is a RIP OFF

Crustysarge... I wish I had listen to you!!!!!!!

Doug's built all of the nice headers (the first batch) that were delivered early on. Tunnel Port Ron thought that Doug was raping him so he went into business for himself...and has yet to deliver as promised. A bunch of you jumped my a$$ for offering support of Doug Thorley over Tunnel Port Ron. You all thought Doug was taking advantage of the Pontiac community. When you order from Doug's Headers and make payment...your headers ship. Who has taken advantage of whom now?

Aron has ended up in a bad situation by being the middleman for Ron. Now, his reputation is damaged as a result.
This is the number one reason I only went as far to help Ron by loaning him my set of H-O headers to pattern his Tribal headers.
I had just started marketing my shaker assemblies back then and didn't need "bad press" if the tribal tubes venture went south.
Unfortunately, folks are still owed headers and the possibility of obtaining a set of Tribal Tubes headers for myself are questionable.

Yes, still hopeful. You know why? Because being pissed off and ranting about it won't do any good for me. I've accepted that I'll likely never see them, so all I can do is hope they show up some day. Like me, if there was something that any of you could do to get your money back or to get your headers, you would have already done it. We're all stuck.

It is what it is, and there's no point dwelling on it...move on, and let your Pontiacs be a source of enjoyment and pride, instead of feeling pissed off and cheated every time you see your cars. This is still a great hobby, filled with a lot of really good people.

Money is tight for everyone, but there are so many other worse things going on in the world today.

Merry Christmas to you all.
