Mark,those manifold flanges look to good to cut up! I would have thought a pair of laser cut steel shims would only be a few dollars?

The Hoses tend to restrict the air flow when the dump valves open. Keefer used to throw the belt off of his Procharger engine when he had the hoses on his deal because the air was not able to be dumped fast enough to keep the supercharger from meeting a resistance and the the belt came off.
With your turbo deal you might have been in a partial turbo surge mode before you added the additional breather holes in your cans.
Agree that dumping water/meth into the engine bay/under a car is a bad idea.
