I agree, that is one sharp looking LeMans Wer.
![]() I close my eyes and imagine Commander Bond riding around in Switzerland in it. Now that would have been good in one of the early Bond movies.

Yeah me too... But he usually has one riding with him anyways. Then again I'd love to have one riding around with me instead of him. LOL

Here's my 67 LeMans.
I've bought it in 2011 and brought it over to Germany. Plenty of stuff is still missing as I didn't pay enough attention to get a complete car. It's a mixture of several with the most expensive parts missing, I am afraid, but I am getting there |

I just dont understand why the GTO didnt have the fins on the front of the quarter panels, they look so cool.

Nice LeMans Thrawn.
And welcome to PY. If the 'gills' were functional as ducts to cool the rear brakes, I'd like them too.

Thanks for the warm welcome, gents.
"Gills" is a match for these, that's right. I like them even without being functional @GT182. Isn't that one of the best things of cars that age? That not everything had to be functional and there was still room to look good, just because? ..maybe that's more the 50ties

The tail panel was in a bad condition and i would not buy someone from ebay or something. I decided to replace the tail panel with '66 GTO Letters (PONTIAC). I like it. Looks very individual with the tail lights together. The fenders are also cleaned. I didn't like the finns from the '66.

Here's mine, a 52k mile one family owned car. Blue Charcoal with a parchment interior, 326 2bbl. 1 ameteur repaint 15+ years ago has dents and dings like an old original car should.

That's a nice car. I think I'm psychic. I see a 4bbl in your future.

Wer77 and Joe, they both look great.
There was only one thing that bugged me about my 66 Tempest, and that was that plain ol black dash. The wood veneer would have made it so so much better inside. I can't understand why Pontiac only used it in the GTOs.
