Default Edmunds.com

I used Edmonds.com in 2006 to buy my Titan. You can list all the options and VIN to get a Retail, Invoice and current selling price for your potential purchase. I made an offer based on that, and the dealer counter offered at 250.00 more which was still 2400.00 less than sticker.

Be careful if you are buying used or last model year leftover stock, there may or may not be incentives that you can get along with a lowball offer. Another good place to check prices is CarMax.com, they tend to price close to average retail for most cars. 30G's is a lot to put on a new truck, but if you like it and you get a price that you feel is fair, then be happy!

I know in Nov of 2010 I was looking at a new Titan, and the 2011's had better rebates that made the 2011 cheaper by about 1000.00, but if you had the time to research and then dicker with the salesman/woman, you could have gotten the 2010 for 2000. less than a 2011. It all depends on how you look at car buying. I learned a few good lessons, and some of them were expensive.

My best advice is to do a lot of research on prices, go to different dealers and then play the game. Be willing to walk out of the showroom if they cant meet your price and many times they can come around, especially if you have a fair offer. It is really a game and if you take the time to play, you have a better chance of getting a fair deal.
