Last fall my son asked me if he could take my 64 GTO to a car show in Centerville, Va, that was sponsored by a friend of his for a Vet's fund. I told him to come by and we'd dig it out and clean it up. We ended up at the show. I was sitting in a chair by the car and a gentleman told me that he bought the first post 64 GTO in No. Va.

I asked him where he grew up. It happens to be 3 blocks from where I did in Arlington, Va. I asked his name and I had gone to grade school with he and many of his 8 siblings.
As we we're talking, his wife came by and her maiden name was Altizer. Her brother Irvin and I were pretty close. Also, do you remember Gene Altizer (Anglia) world class drag racer. By the way I'm 71 and those were good times. Small world. Jon
