Don't follow Nascar much but it would seem to me she did well.

She did well...but I think Dale Jr. got tired of waiting for her to pull out so he blew by her and got second....he could have been pushing her butt past Jimmy !!!

Default anybody besides me think this?

IMHO:
When she finally 'took' the lead, it was only because Micheal Waltrip sandbagged on that restart to allow her to 'make history'.
Way to take one for the good of the sport, Mikey. Male chivalry has no place on the track. You just wussified NASCAR.

Todays race was one of the most boring 500's ever. (with the exception of seeing some junk toyotas blow up!)

She only did "good" because she always rode in the high lane and never tried to pass, and nobody was doing any passing up front, she always lost spots coming off pit road under green, but would pick up a few under caution since she had the first pit, and the crew chief called for just gas on the last caution that she came in, when most people took tires and got her out first.

Me neither; not in the last 20 years or so.

Forgive me for asking (everybody) but I don't think I've ever heard her name said out loud.

How is it pronounced?

Is it

DAN icka

or

dan EYE ca?

K
