The fact that any was left in the car was simply because it was easier to leave it where it landed than it was to remove it - which is why you often find paperwork with tar sprayed over it, screws shot through it, etc. As I mentioned in post #25 I found the build sheet over the fuel tank in my Pontiac built '65 GTO - thankfully. It's the only build sheet I've ever found in any of my collector cars. K
