It doesn't surprise me that this car is getting so much interest. We've recently seen some complete crap-bucket Judges in lousy colors needing a complete rebody bid to $5-7k. While this car needs more work than I originally thought, it still has a lot going for it, not the least of which it is THE Judge color.

Most enthusiasts don't have $50-60k laying around to shell out for the excellent examples mentioned in this thread. While this car will ultimately require more than that to restore properly, the entry point is signficantly lower and the new owner can spread the restoration costs over time. Or he may just want to get it street worthy and bang around in it as is.

For whatever reason, there also seems to be a value premium given to cars with a "barn find" mystique. If I were the seller, I'd be quite happy with the current price - anything beyond that is a nice bonus. Bidding looks legit, so far...
