All NASCAR drivers will receive "SPECIAL OLYMPICS" Trophy’s for participation
Last I remember from the DVR view of VEGAS was Danicant was 5 laps down and in 30 something place at the end?
I didn’t listen to the "commentary" just FFD through the race...to the end. Because of the over hype of Danicant: Soon all NASCAR drivers will receive Trophy’s for participation like the "SPECIAL OLYMPICS" And YES - WHERE ARE ALL OF THE PY DANICANT APPOLGIST NOW?!!! The only way she will win a race is it if it looks like ran and everybody except for her (providing she's on the lead lap) pits and she stays out, there may be only a few sprikles, but nascrap will call the race in order to create a media frenzy over her winning.

As I mentioned before, she's vastly overrated. But NASCAR (and especially Tony Stewart) is making tons of money promoting her "star power".
Danica is the Kim Kardashian of NASCAR. But.....the girl CAN drive a road course, as she showed us all last year. That was a HUGE surprise to me. As for the rest of her racing career, there's a reason Rahal-Letterman got rid of her all those years ago. She was always the focus of the Indy 500, she brought in advertisers and viewers, but after a couple years, her luster began to fade, so they they dumped her. Rahal knew she didn't have what it took to be a champion. She'll continue to sell products and promote NASCAR, or Indy, or whatever she does. She's a star, but she's not a star for her racing talent.

Danica (30th - 53 pts) and Newman (31st - 50 pts.) have been having real similar problems out there. Crapping out.
Newman is a heck of a driver with plenty of experience. Been surprised he hasn't been able to supply better feedback to get his race set-ups more dialed in. Probably real ashamed he is not ahead of Danica. They are at the top of the Non-Threat category right now. Still have high hopes for her if they can get their good stuff to work better at these non-superspeedway tracks. Really think she could stay top 15 with the right car every week. But so could about all the others too. so many variables - so little time |

With Ryan - he has the talent to move up significantly in the points as the season moves forward - I would expect that to happen this weekend where Ryan has an average finish of 14th at Bristol. I'm not optimistic that Wanica can finish well in Bristol - as her average finish there in Nationwide is 20th and Cup is 29th. |

He has less racing experience than Iwanica, but look at his results: no top 10's, 4 finishes between 11 - 20, no finishes below 20 - currently 11th in the points (which would put him in the Chase if the season ended today) Both drivers have similar equipment. The difference is driving talent. One has earned a Cup ride, the other hasn't. |
