Default 450+hp 461

Here's a build I just completed some of you may find interesting. It is a typical 461 shortblock with a cast crank, forged rods and pistons, bearing oil hole mods, etc. The top end consisted of bowl ported and raised roof 4x's tapped for screw in studs, lightweight retainers, a stage 2 cam with 1.5 rockers, ported and separated RPM and an 800 cfm Edelbrock. The customer wanted it for his '69 GTO with 3.55's. Slight lump in the idle at 700 rpm. I think he will like it. Ten degrees initial had it purring and 16 gave it some attitude. He'll find what it/he likes best. At 9:1, 34 degrees total should be more than enough. Here's a link for more specs http://www.sandovalperformance.com/#...galleryv2128=1
