Paul,

So who did you book for the band?
What kind of play list? 60's 70's & 80's type stuff?

Also, the link for Cruisin' Tigers GTO's is not working for the 4 page show flyer, at least for me.... just an FYI.......

My real question is; what are the check in times for Pre Reg'd for Saturday and/or Sunday?

I'm really looking forward to this year, the weather forecast looks to be PERFECT!

They cancelled the corvette show here because of the road construction. I don't drive my car thru construction zones that's all..so I took the extra time to find the safest way in for me and my friends and let you know about it.

Craig you wouldn't drive brewster's car thru that area you would take the path Into the show I suggested. It's like a 2 mile detour but still gets you into the show. Why beat me up about it??

I'm disappointed with the negative responses Take anyway into the show you want I was going to the show despite the construction. I feel personally attacked here for trying to lend some intelligence so don't take my advice if you don't want to.

Phil, I definitely appreciate your post with directions! I made a comment last year about the construction when they had the POCI convention. I was just letting everyone know to be cautious. Well Paul and a few others didn't appreciate my post either. It seems like attendance numbers are more important then are cars. I have seen your car, and I wouldn't drive it through road construction either! I have the issue of High Performance Pontiac with your formula in it. THAT IS THE NICEST FORMULA I HAVE EVER SEEN AND I'M WITH YOU!!

LOL! I want too as well, but 3 cars to clean yet, only got the 72 done. 3 more to go!
That will be my Friday day off plan.......
Just wipe off the grime on my other POS cars.

I might be a bit under detailed, but I will be there.

Dave, They are just going to get dirty from the construction so you might as well play golf .......I just can't resist it's just too easy. Did you get that door ding from Barrington fixed? How did that happen again?

For all those that are staying home I will raise a cold one in your honor as I enjoy the Saint Charles sunshine.

Mr D.

Haven't seen you in a while.

Im not sure what the band plays. All I know is that a few people went to see them and really liked them so they booked the band for the show.

Registration is open all day day long. I think 9 to at least 3 on Saturday and bright and early at 8 on Sunday closing at 11. Since you already registered, just tell 'em your name at the gate and drive (not burn out) you way on the field.

Ive really tried to steer away from the construction thing. Obviously it wont die.

Construction
. This is the Chicago area. Its a way of life here. North Ave in St Charles is under a major renovation of road that badly needed it. Nobody is hiding anything. Its called CONSTRUCTION. Its either there or it isn't. Its running two lanes in both directions while most of the work is being done. I drive this route all the time. The roads are in very good condition considering the circumstances.

2012 was the biggest documented POCI convention in POCI history. Construction was not hidden from anyone. Last year over 1000 cars came to the show. Im sure that there were cars there just as nice as what ever Pontiac you drive. They may have trailered their car or they may have driven it. Either way, they came out in droves.

The fact that you post my name or the club that Im affiliated with saying that we don't care about the cars just our numbers is a bunch of BS and offensive. The CTGTOC takes ever precaution to make sure your cars are safe while on show grounds. Please, if you are so incredibly afraid that while driving 30 mph for a mile or two something may happen to your car, you may need to find another way to get the car there.

I have so much more to say but Im gonna get off my soap box before I get hurt.

I just saw this. You are bringing how many cars???? Good for you!!!! I thought it was just the one. Looks like another big second gen turnout at the "Ol Uprising again this year with you guys.

I know Ill probably get prank calls from Craig, Brian and Evans for posting my phone number, but if anyone needs any help, please feel free. 847 812 3782. I may be limited on my web time over the next couple of days.

I'm not knocking you or the cruising tigers at all! Just stating that I think it's BS when you have someone like FormulaPhil being nice enough to find an alternate route to avoid the construction. Yes there is always construction, but that doesn't mean we have to drive through it. Sorry if I offended you Old Blue 66, but how do you think others like FormulaPhil feel when all anyone is trying to do is have a good time and enjoy our cars. Enough said.

Sorry Craig, pressing business pulled me away and I couldn't respond in time. I don't have your kind of money I'm working my way up to it

Thank you for your kind offer though. It looks to be perfect weather that day.

Keep it in the fairway and good luck !

Phil

My buddy Gary just got up to St Charles today. 64 is in good shape the only downfall is the intersection at the dupage centre is closed but should be open by the weekend. Good Luck everyone and drive safe.

They've made huge progress since the weekend on that intersection. Hopefully, it will be open.
