Just went through this!
You will have to adjust the front spring on the hood to bring it down, but will have to adjust the hood hinges also, the back bolt on the hood hinge brings the hood down in front and the front bolt on the hood hinge brings the back of the hood up and down, but you have to have the front spring on the hood within reason.
