This guy made my weekend by sorting out a bunch of software issues I caused reflashing my ECU, and wouldn't take a dime.
Car starts and idles the best ever, tip in is much improved and no hidden gremlins popped up to destroy my engine. Thanks some much for your time. Ed Last edited by v869tr6; 08-06-2013 at 10:05 PM. |

I have owned my TR6 for 40 years and its starting to come around.
Once I get the new 4L80 trans and new converter in it will almost be done. So many positive comments from a bunch of very nice people sure made for a cool event. Thanks |

I was glad to see you made it to Norwalk this year, how did it run?
Travis is great, as are most of the Pontiac racers. |

Now that my data logger is working, thanks to Travis, I can see I have about 20% slipage on the convertor which hurt the top end also. Can't wait to see how my new convertor and trans work out, plus going back to a 3.00 gear should put my 60 fts back into the hi 1.20's low 1.30's. the 9.11 pass had a 1.52 60 ft. |

Loved watching your car run, looks like it just "squirts" down the track, if there was ever a way to get the turbo and intake under that hood somewhere it would have to qualify as one of the biggest "sleepers" of all time.

Cool car! Looks bad to the bone. Saw some pictures here before of it.
One of my college girlfriends had a red TR6 with that crazy British motor. I remember it had a canister oil filter but not enough room to pull the cannister out and clean it just enough to pop in a new element! One of my local Pontiac buddies put a aluminum Buick/Rover motor in a MGB and added a 65-67 GTO scoop to help the carb fit. Had a 10 bolt narrowed and a Muncie in it.

I learn something useful every single time I talk to Travis & Rodney. Good thing they don't live close to me....I'd be bothering them all the time.
