So: A torch to heat up the springs or cut 1/2 coil off you think?

I like it exactly as is; and reminds me of how much vehicles grow in height whenever they're worked on suspension wise or simply jacked up.

No torch or cutting of Springs. Front coils and rear leafs from Hotchkis or Pro-Touring F-Body would be the way to go. Man even if you like the stock look, that stance is not it.

Was JK with the torch or cutting...but IIRC that's how some of Herb Adams and crew spec'd them back in the day...(see works T/As on pg. 138).

Look on page 139 of your copy of "The Fabulous Firebird" and you will see a (then new) Pontiac photo of a 1978 T/A driving in the rain.
It has the same stance as this one. Takes some time for the suspension to "settle" doesn't it?

No worries either way. Each to their own. Kudos to the owner - job well done!
