Could swear that particular automatic '71 HO Formula has been for sale in the last 2-4 years & it was in the N metroplex area. I remember the color, as I'm "killing the cardinal" red on my HO T-37 & going back with rosewood metallic. going to look killer with black parody cloth interior & poverty caps.

I just got an email from Charles at ECS Automotive telling me that they now have the correct RQ air cleaner decal for the 1972 455HO.

(of course, now that I no longer have a 1972 455HO!)

So give them a call and order one before the production run, runs out.

Hey Steve,
I didn't remember you not still having your 72, it was a beautiful car, but heres an example of ECS's work. These are the correct air cleaner & block code decals for 71 Trans Am's. They can make any thing we need if somebody can supply a good pic, or an actual decal for them to use as a guide.

Thanks to 68bird400HO for sending them an original decal a while back and to Steve for knowing they had it. This stuff's hard to find.

Eddie

I moved up a year to a 73, and BentWheelBob has the black 72 now.

ECS made their 1972 emissions sticker off of the one I supplied them from my 72 T/A, a few years back. It's nice to see that the guys at ECS are rather attentive to our needs when we bring them a new idea for an item.

Thanks for the heads up Steve! I talked to Charles this morning and he needs 73 SD decal information. I'm sending him some pics, but you might also from that beautiful car of yours!

Cheers,
Tim
