I have to admit. When I first seen a factory RA 5 head. My first knee jerk reaction was that the tube would hinder performance too. After some testing and talking to guy's that have been at this way longer than me. I soon realized that the pushrod tube is not the problem, the valve is. After playing with and testing the RA5 head platform. I really think that if Pontiac forged forward with the concept, that it would have been a game changer. It may not be a Hemi head, but it would have definitely been a contender for sure. The really good thing about this type of platform is the valve train geometry.
All of the pushrods are going straight North. Not at any weird angles creating side load.

Making a dream come to reality will definitely put a smile on your face!!!! I'll be allot happier when they are on an engine and sales start to come in though.
