Bill Blair told me he never saw any alu doors but had seen a couple deck lids on the NASCAR cars.Again,never had seen one for sale EVER!Tom

Thanks for the reply. I was also wondering about the 544128 intake, which is the Nascar 4bbl intake. Did u every run with it. I love the way they look with that reinforcement bar by the heat area. Just realized that the bath tub intake casting number ends in"128".

Welllll..I blew that one!!!! I never used one, had several intakes & only 1 carb over the years.
I have a picture of the Royal 62 when it was in Eaton Ohio. He claimed it had aluminum doors.....I cant verify that either way. Been 25 years since I was there. It had a flywheel rusted to the front seat. I pried it loose & put it on the floor. Also remembered that blk/gold car was the first time I ever saw the lighter GP grilles in a Catalina. PJ see where you owned the Aluminum front end off the Stan Long 63 Lemans SD coupe, I know its in Florida now, do you remember who you got it from? was it the guy who owned the car at the time? never heard much follow up on who the car belong to before it was discovered on Ebay for sale.
