Adrian and Sister are finished and ready for the Shark Tank
Below are some pictures of my Adriatic Blue ’72 TA 4spd with custom blue/white interior and my Lucy Blue ’72 TA console delete automatic column shift with standard white interior.
Both cars started life as Welly 1/18” scale ’72 TA’s with automatic, console and black interior. Adrian received the following mod’s: Custom Code 24 Adriatic Blue exterior. Stripes are courtesy of TransAmStripes.net custom scaled down and printed to clear decal paper. Automatic to 4spd conversion by moving a Hurst shifter from an Ertl 1/18” TA. Wheels and tires are GMP Rally II’s and Goodyear F-70 15 Interior is custom blue/white which is based on information from Adrian's build sheet and period photos. Changed the license to ‘Code 24’ Sister received the following mod’s: Moved the shift handle from the floor to the column Removed the center console and carpeted the hump Interior is standard white interior. Wheels and tires are honeycombs and GMP Firestone Wide O Ovals Changed the license to DHZ-455 The GMP trailer was upgraded with GMP Rally II’s and Goodyears.

And finally, here’s a few pictures of the cars with a limited print of Michael Irvine’s Bird Sanctuary as the backdrop. This particular copy is numbered 458/800

wrong spoiler tips, later not 70-73.
LOL,, just kidding. great work, wish they were in my garage. i have models like that of most of the special cars i have owned, 69 SS396 Nova,67 SS Chevelle, 71white TA, 71 Blue TA, 73 RED TA, 78 Bandit. don't have most of those any more, but nice to look on the shelf and remember them. now i need to do what you did and switch the interiors around so they match exactly. now i am going to have to get off my butt and get to work. once again great attention to detail. i salute your efforts.

Well Norwood, as you may know the Welly '72 TA tends to be built similar to Adrian's day 2 restoration under the hood. The '73+ fender straps and radiator overflow bottle are best left undisclosed and hidden under the hood!
The passenger side exhaust stack and intake manifold stack bracket are also incorrect, and I didn't think you were reproducing those in 1:18 scale so no underhood shots on this shark tank. '71 WARBIRD saw something I didn't see with the long spoiler tips. If I had caught that I may have taken a dremel tool to them before painting Adrian. That would have been a cool feature to tweak. I did however change out the tail light lenses to the proper SAE STIAR 70. It just doesn't show up on these pictures.
