The sad thing is anyone that scoffs at Frantz filters has no knowledge of the huge advantages they offer over inferior full flow so called filters, the brand makes no difference, not one can filter as well as a Frantz. My 239,000 mile diesel has the same oil in it since 2011 and about 21,000 miles on the same oil that I changed in June 2011, I have no plans of changing the oil in the near future. It's just regular dino oil, not synthetic or a blend.

If anyone chooses to use the crappy factory designed filter (brand matters little they all suck as oil filters) over a bypass filter they're spending money they don't need to and wearing their engine out prematurely, your machine and your choice.

Inferior filtering is what the car makers depend on to wear out the engine prematurely and if you choose to follow the herd of sheeple that don't think for themselves and let the manufacturers and oil companies (who trusts oil companies or car manufacturers to be truthful? not me) set the way they maintain their vehicles.

BTW, Frantz is the only bypass oil filter that was approved by the FAA for use in piston driven aircraft, not something to taken with a grain of salt.

I don't have to sell Frantz filters or T shirts to make a living, more of a hobby that I share with the Pontiac community. It's kind of like the "Touring Princess", a "model" (at least someone thinks she's hot, I don't really know why ) that drives a race car as a hobby........................

I know I can beat her in an equal matched race car, no doubt in my mind. The video where they talk about Kyle Petty saying she can drive a race car, but isn't a race car driver, is so true, and she proves it week after week. Just like a hobby, not a real profession and she's not a real professional either. There is NO drive to win with her, proving as has been said many times she's not doing it to win races, just to fatten her bank account.

After Kyle Petty made the not a race car driver comment, there was a big deal over how dare he tarnish her image with the comments, when his win average wasn't anywhere near his dads record. The "Touring Princess" will never even get close to Kyle's record in NASCAR cup series. The first partial season he ran he finished 28th, most likely where Wanica will finish in her first full season. In his first full year he finished 13th.

Kyle Petty's record in cup competition:

Wins Top tens Poles
8.........173........8

Having a famous father in NASCAR doesn't mean the offspring will inherit the skills the father has, Dale Jr. is a prime example along with a few more sons that have followed their dads lead into NASCAR. No matter how mediocre Kyle's record is Wanica won't come close to it before she exits NASCAR.
