Got some nice weather this week, 70's and low humidity. I was able to take advantage of it and got the Aero Coupe's nose pieces painted.

Now that I got the nose painted. I need to address the 2+2 grills. The top two grills have been painted a light blue and the bottom two are an orange red. They were originally black. I want to remove those colors without damaging the grills. They are unique to the 2+2 and I imagine hard to come by. I was thinking I could use my bead cabinet to remove the paint. I don't want to try a paint remover for fear that it may react to the grill plastic. Here's a picture of the grills.

I ended up going with the bead blast cabinet to strip the paint off the grills. Worked out pretty good. The upper two are now ready for some paint. The lower grills need some repair. A few of the mounting tabs were broken off.
