Details????? Inquiring minds wanna hear details.

My parents bought a '67 2+2 new with a hood tach and a 4 speed .....that is the car I rode in in when I came home from the hospital when I was born in '68... This GP has sentimental value to me.... I'm a car dealer by trade..... but this GP and a couple of other cars will be with me until I'm dead...

I dig it. We called it The Batmobile.

Short story - My parents '67 GP was a Tyrol Blue w white vinyl top and pearl white "parchment" and black interior. It was a disc brake car, 400' 4 bbl, Automatic. This was around 1969, and this GP was used as a tow vehicle for the family '62 Catalina B/MP drag car.

The GP was equipped w Air Shocks to adjust ride height when trunk filled with tools, slicks, and interior passengers, etc.

Installed all equipment w Dad: the Tow Bars, Air Shocks, Free-Wheeling (MNW Brand?) Hubs and Tow Bar, and much more...on both @ 7yrs of age...

As to the GP, it was a beautiful interior w black dash and carpet, with the door panels, headliner and seats in that beautiful "pearl white" parchment interior, which I personally scrubbed semi-annually to remove the nicotine and general grime. Although both parents smoked, which i received 2nd hand via the "Astro-Ventilation", that white interior was kept military inspection clean, as was the white vinyl top.

I prefer them as built with the fender skirts...and love this one year only GP design...taillight "slots" like on our '67 GTO...

Good Poncho stuff, for sure.

Congrats on your clean, creme puff. It's a sweet looking machine, which you obtained at a bargain price for sure.

Edit: BTT the family '62 Catalina B/MP drag car and '67 GP were both Automatics!
