Those who stab the gas and brake at every stoplight/stop sign, as well as in heavy traffic. Then, profusely complain about horrible gas mileage and repeated brake service requirements.

Businesses that spend tons of money in areas where it shouldn't be spent and tightwads in critical areas. This includes my DA employer.

Those who profusely complain about the lack of money yet spend like raging imbeciles.

Where common sense and curtsey is hiding out.

Music of the past 35 years.

TV shows of the past 15 years (generally reality shows).

Those who blast music at insane levels inside their cars. Who wants to be deaf before the age of 30, or old age, for that matter?

I second this one! When you see what smoking can do to a loved one and end their life in such a degrading way if dosent make any sense to me. And you pay for it to happen! Thats nuts. Mainly because it is almost dimensionally the same and weighs the same as a flathead Ford V8. It was easy to find in the junkyard starting back in '55. A stock 2-barrel 1955 265 Chevy V8 made 162 HP, about the same as a heavily-modified Ford flathead V8.

A small-block Ford is longer and narrower, not as good a fit. You rarely see a 260, 289 or 302 in a '30s Ford, they simply are too long.

Pretty sure a 302 and a 350 are about 22" OAL.

But up until the last 10 - 15 years the Chevy was much cheaper to rebuild and had

what seemed to have a larger aftermarket performance parts selection -

The oil pump being in the front of the SBF, as well as the way the oil pan has to be configured because of the oil pump location, and the way the front suspension is setup on '32 Fords, as well as the placement of the engine are all a factor. I prefer to see a flathead in there anyways. Most of those are setup with the Chevrolet SB, the TH 350 trans, the Monte Carlo Tilt Column, the Pinto Rack and Pinion, and the Ford 9 inch rearend. Popular Hot Rodding years ago had a car called "Project '32" that had a Pontiac 400 in the '32 Ford.
