Here is my recent project. It is now at the body shop for a frame off. Once done, it will be triple black, and loaded with every option available at the time. A correct code 428 has been rebuilt to HO specs along with a .068 cam. The seats and door panels are done, a rally gauge dash was sourced and is rebuilt along with the proper harness and a room full of NOS, new and used parts are waiting. Got to get the body and frame done this summer and begin the assembly. I hate this stage because one doesn't see much progress being made, just a big mess.

Thanks to many on this forum for help and with parts. There will be a lot of stuff left over if anyone needs anything.

Most of you have seen this one and heard the story. Long and short, it was our grandparents car( Myrtle was grandmother) new and remained with them until they were 89 and 90 years old, then our dads, and next me, and now my brothers to care-take. We both learned to drive in the car when we were 14 and 15. Most recently he moved to South FL and Myrtle is now there with him. Not before she made it to the past 4 POCI shows.

I think my hood tach might of been dealer installed? It's a dixco co. type hood tach. Thinking of going with a '67 Pontiac style one day?

My '75 ; great uncle and aunt bought it new. I got it in the late 90s with 20 something thousand original miles. It's been garaged it's whole life and I think it now shows about 35,000 miles. Wasn't happy with the 200 horse 455, so I replaced it with a 030 over 1970 455 I machines with 6X-8 heads (9.3 comp) with some pocket porting, 3 angle valvejob, Comp Cams 255 DEH, roller rockers, RARE exhaust headers, 1971 intake, few other things. The difference was night and day after the swap; I even beat a co workers 350 IROC in the late 90s after I installed the engine -

Nice Bonny. I believe I saw the car at the Kil-Kare drags in OH last July.

Back in the mid 70's my parents had a 428 4 speed '67 Ventura that same color combo.

Here is the car at the blast shop in December, 2012. Sorry for the poor picture quality but all I had at the time.

She will get some blasting (not all) and then back to the shop and off the frame. It will be a push, but I hope to have it back on the frame by fall.
