Not sure where in Canada u are located but I have a 65 diff, out of a 65 Lemans. should be the same housing. Can look for numbers if wanted. Has 256 open. Might save a little on shipping??

Hi there. if you don't mind, please check the numbers on your rear end. Please let me know numbers and price via Private Message. I have not yet committed to the other rear end.
Thanks!! |

Does anyone own a 1965 GTO on this forum with a 9777142 casting rear end that is known to be original to your car? I am really trying to get to the bottom of this casting number thing. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! |

Should maybe have this moved to the 64-65 section.

I agree. I would imagine this would be a decision of the Moderators? I can't find any options to move it myself. I have seen some threads on this forum dealing with casting numbers on '64 rear ends, but few on the '65 editions. If moved, this thread could serve us '65 owners well into the future.
Thanks! |
