There's a lot of white paint on the underside of that hood too. Nice car but if you look close there's some things that could be better.

Wonder if the owner is a member of the shark tank? Tires were the 1st thing that I questioned, but I'm far from an expert. At least there's no "Buick Engine Decal" - pretty hard to use one "correctly" on a Shaker car!

Mecum Kissimmee has a 73 SD Formula going on Friday, lot F109, white, black deluxe interior, pw, A/C, rear spoiler, honeycombs, no gauges. Looks it has the original polyethylene valance. (wrong year woodgrain gauge faceplate, later model A/C accumulator, wierd A/C wiring, and mssing some emissions stuff). Looks like a nice car.

I can't remember ever seeing an SD car ever not with a tach. I'm not 100% sure but I think with the SD you had to order the complete gauge package as it was a requirement when you got the SD.

On a T/A, yes. On a Formula, no. If you didn't order it, it didn't come. There are a lot of weirdly optioned SD Formulas out there. That's what makes them so unique.

Indeed, such as an "open" rear gear, etc. Weird and cool Formys all @ same time.

The description didn't mention whether it was numbers matching, only that it was the correct carburetor.

Good point. Strong money for a car with little info. Looks like the rarer Formulas are finally getting their monetary recognition.

The green SD T/A was a no sale at a high bid of $82,000.

The green SD was restored by the late Mike Pergande who passed away recently. Apparently, the car has had somewhat of a rough life since it left Mike's care.
