I haven't seen it and probably wont. Its coming from a reliable, trusted parts source here on PY and Ill just have him ship it directly to the company that will rebuild it.

So, if a 1964 unit will work, what model year/ engine size pumps will work for my 1967 326 application? Maybe I can start hunting around for a pump or at least a CORRECT impeller.

Check the stamping for the part number. Then see if its the correct one for that motor. I dont have that info but Im sure someone here does. If you're not concerned about dates, those pumps were used in multiple years.

The 8 bolt pump is for a 67 326. 69 was the year they went to the 11 bolt pumps.

I called a few companies that rebuild water pumps. This place REALLY new their stuff and more importantly, new the challenge we have with Pontiacs and the impeller. Its like he explained this thread to me all over again.
http://www.fdrbp.com/ $95 plus shipping back to you. Takes 3 - 5 days. He also mentioned that the impeller breaks from time to time. The have exact replacement impellers. Im going this route and I know Ill have a good pump. |

At $95 you can't beat that. If you go to the auto parts store you get the wrong one for half the price.

I will. They blast the pump, prime it and paint it. I won't have them paint it but he said it will be anew piece when it's done.
